What Jeannine's Clients Have to Say:
“After a few sessions my son's procrastination dropped and he began to get back on track quickly."
-Brad, parent of high school junior
“I wish there was something like this when I was in high school because I was not motivated at all. I didn't know how to study properly or take notes. You showed me how to be more focused and to work hard for what I wanted. Now I've reached my goal of going to UGA and I am so excited!”
-Dee, former student
“Not only was the middle school workshop fun, I learned how to use my agenda to stay organized. I'm still using it now in eighth grade. Being organized helps take a lot of the pressure off.”
-Alex, current 8th grade student
“When my son came home from the How to Thrive in Middle School workshop with Dr. Jannot, we had to immediately run out and buy him a day planner. He was so excited to 'get himself organized' for 6th grade. So we did, that day. I thought this would be something that he would lose interest in after the first week, but he is now in 8th grade and his agenda/day planner is still a huge part of his organizational routine. He is an organized person by nature, but having Dr. Jannot reinforce the importance of mastering this skill in Middle School and giving him the roadmap on how to do so was truly invaluable.”
-Kellie, parent of middle schooler
"I brought my son to Jeannine after a trip to his doctor for constant stomach aches. These were determined to be stress induced from school. My son is super intelligent, and until the end of 8th grade, coasted through school without needing to study or be organized. The end of 8th grade and the beginning of 9th grade, his lack of organization and planning led to many missing assignments, failing tests, and ultimately failing class grades. Jeannine was AMAZING! She taught my son organizational methods that would work for him (since keeping an agenda is not going to happen), she gave him ideas for study skills in classes he did not know how to study for, but most importantly she gave him permission not to be perfect in his own eyes. After the sessions with Jeannine, my son worked hard using what he had learned and managed for finish the semester with all As and Bs! We are so proud of him, but most importantly, he is proud of himself! We could not thank Jeanine enough for her knowledge and patience!"
-Tina, parent of a 9th grader
