(she/her)

About Lisa:

Lisa holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University and has been working at Peachtree Psychology since August of 2019.

Lisa understands the challenges and difficulty in working to transform oneself. Therapy is not an easy undertaking, but it has the ability to provide a pathway for progress, fulfillment and meaning. Lisa’s approach is to create a safe, trusting, judgment-free therapeutic environment to bring your struggle into the therapy room real-time. She will work with you to create and shape an outcome that aligns with your life’s values, goals and direction.

Lisa holds a keen interest in women's issues and men or women who question if they are in an abusive relationship or survivors that have left an abusive relationship. Oftentimes survivors' partners hold strong traits of personality disorders such as borderline or narcissism tendencies.

Clients can expect elements of existential, humanistic, person-centered, gestalt, psychodynamic, Jungian concepts and dreamwork to be a part of session work.

Dreamwork is a gateway into one's unconscious and is a wonderful way to bring aspects of yourself into the therapy room. If desired by the client, dreamwork consultations can more deeply explore a specific dream.

Lisa has completed a fellowship with the Emory University Psychoanalytic program as well as holds a certification from the Institute of Dream Studies.

Lisa Giebelhause is licensed in Georgia & Florida.
