MICHAELA HILBURN

(she/her)

About Michaela:

Stepping into counseling can be a confusing or intimidating process. However, it is a courageous step towards healing. Michaela’s hope within the counseling session is to join you and/or your child wherever you are in that process to see the world through your frame of reference. Michaela believes that every person holds strength and resilience that can be brought to light and utilized throughout this process.

She has a passion for working with children, adolescents, teens, and young adults. Michaela’s hope is to personalize her work to your needs. She will work to empower you to find the confidence to live in the present, while still tending to and honoring the parts of your past that may be holding you back or informing your present, whether those are building skills, processing the past, or navigating the present. You will collaborate with Michaela to identify those goals, and the hopes that you carry for this journey.

Trust is earned, and Michaela hopes that, throughout your time together, you’ll feel safe and supported. Her goal is to create a nonjudgmental space where your experiences are valued as you work together.
