Who I Work With
Therapeutic Approach
Ehrael offers a nonjudgmental and empathetic therapeutic space, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as CBT and ACT. Through these approaches, Ehrael supports clients in exploring their thoughts and emotions, developing effective coping strategies, finding meaning in their experiences, and building the resilience necessary to navigate life’s challenges.
About Ehrael
Ehrael Rivers Lambert is an LMSW with over a decade of experience supporting individuals across a variety of behavioral health and community settings in Washington, DC, including community mental health, inpatient psychiatry across the lifespan, substance use treatment with justice-involved individuals, and helping individuals navigate barriers to employment and meaningful life changes.
In addition to her clinical background, Ehrael has worked in corporate and professional settings including healthcare recruiting, the insurance industry, and political organizations. These experiences provide her with a unique understanding of career transitions, workplace stress, and the challenges many professionals face while balancing work, caregiving, and personal responsibilities. She is currently licensed in Georgia, where she continues to pursue the clinical work that has always been meaningful to her.
Ehrael earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Spelman College and her Master of Social Work from Howard University. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). Ehrael is attuned to the experiences of BIPOC clients, including how race, culture, family, and faith can shape grief, caregiving, and life transitions. As a person of the Christian faith, she integrates spirituality into therapy for clients who express a desire to incorporate their faith into their therapeutic work. She is respectful of clients from all spiritual backgrounds and their individual beliefs. She meets each client where they are and partners with them to work through life’s challenges and transitions while learning more about themselves and becoming stronger in the process.
