She emphasizes making meaning out of losses to make peace with life's inevitable transitions.

About Lynn

Lynn Lane is an LCSW with over 25 years of experience working in diverse settings—including hospital settings, hospices, psychiatric hospitals, with cancer survivors, and in community mental health. She has maintained a private practice over the years and is licensed in Georgia.

Lynn holds a Master of Social Work from Smith College for Social Work in Northampton, MA, and a Master of Divinity (MDiv) from Vanderbilt Divinity School in Nashville, Tennessee. Her work focuses on helping clients find resources for strength and capacity to cope with changes as they age, often through making meaning out of their losses and life transitions.

Her therapeutic philosophy emphasizes respect for the client and mutually agreed upon goals, helping clients find their way for coping with life's challenges.
